One of Georgia’s longest operating race tracks has a new set of promoters.
The 5/16th mile dirt Toccoa Raceway has seen its share of different promoters since it opened in May of 1955. Along the way, the legendary track has seen to improve the visits there for racers and fans alike. Effective immediately, Saturday nights will continue to be alive at the NEW Toccoa Raceway as Mike and Jackie Davidson will take the helm of the speedway beginning in March 2015.
Mike and Jackie Davidson, from nearby Lula, GA have leased and renamed the facility as the NEW Toccoa Raceway and are excited to announce that it will continue to flourish under the FASTRAK Racing Series sanctioning banner in 2015. The facility will be in racing operations on Saturday nights beginning in March until October during the race season.
“I am absolutely excited that my wife (Jackie) and I got this opportunity to operate such a great facility like Toccoa Raceway,” said Mike Davidson. “We honestly feel we can offer a great form of entertainment at a great cost and put on action in the process attracting new attention to the NEW Toccoa Raceway and keeping our diehard fans excited. Our intentions are to begin racing in March every Saturday night. The facility will host many special touring events throughout the year and possibly different forms of entertainment to attract new fans.

There will be many special races along the way including the FASTRAK Racing Series National Tour, ULTIMATE Super Late Models Series, Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series, USCS Sprint Cars Series, Monster Mini Stock Association and much more in store.
