McCoy Powers To Limited Late Model Win At Toccoa

TOCCOA, GA – It had been several weeks since the last time the legendary Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA had seen action, but on Saturday night, the roar of engines and smell of burned fuel returned to the Toccoa dirt.

And, as he has several times this season across North Georgia, David McCoy beat all comers to score the Limited Late Model feature victory.

McCoy outdistanced Tim Magum to pick up the win. Dale Timms trailed the lead duo to finish in third, followed by Clayton Turner in fourth and Stephen Segars in fifth.

In other action, Chris Cape scored the win in the Crate Late Model feature. Larry Timms crossed the finish line in second, with David McCoy in third, Colby Cannon in fourth and Ricky Smith in fifth.

Clifton Snow powered to the Modified Street victory, with Rusty Jordan finishing in second. Billy Buffington ran third, followed by Chris Cape in fourth and Michael Segars in fifth.

Greg Ivester topped the field for the Hobby/602 victory, with Phillip Wilson, Matt Duke, Daniel Fowler and Matthew Garrett rounding out the top five.

Ty Anglin was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Terry Brown in second and Steven House in third.

Brandon Stroud scored the win in the Stock 4 feature, with Kenny Dobbs in second, Ashley Poole in third, Bobby Boshears in fourth and Ryan Boles in fifth.

Matthew Ferguson topped the Beginner 4 Cylinder field for the win. Jessica Still finished second, with Charles Cobb third, Brandon Elliott fourth and Douglas Stewart fifth.
