LAVONIA, GA – Casey Roberts outdistanced the competition to score the Ultimate Super Late Models feature victory in the Georgia State Championships at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA Sunday afternoon.
The Toccoa, GA speedster beat out Riley Hickman to score the win, with Clayton Turner coming home in third, Jeff Smith in fourth and Rambo Franklin in fifth.
Anthony Sanders, Larry Timms, Gus Simpson, Jeffrey Lampp and Doug Sanders rounded out the top ten.
In other action over the race weekend, David McCoy powered to the victory in the Southeastern Late Model feature. Clayton Turner rolled home in second, with Josh Thurmond in third, Randy Dillard in fourth and Drew Collins in fifth.
David Cinhey, Michael Smith, Ronald Wood, Aaron Calvert and Wesley English closed out the top ten.
Jeff Smith edged out Ashley Poole to score the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature victory. David Smith, Frankie Beard and Kenny Collins rounded out the top five.
Adam Smith finished sixth, followed by Colby Cannon, Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance, Corey Gordon and Darren Hill.
In Modified Street action, Tyler Canup beat out Chris Capes for the win. Evan Brown rolled home in third, with Rusty Jordan in fourth and Mark Parham in fifth.
Stanley Hill scored the win in the Hobby Stock feature. Nick Sellers ran second, with Geroge Reese, Sr. in third, Alex Yarborough in fourth and James Nash in fifth.
Jamie Mattison topped the field for the MMSA Mini-Stock feature. Guy Nealy finished second, with Jamie Massey in third, Brandon Stroud in fourth and Shannon Ethridge in fifth.
Joseph “Boo Man” Galloway scored the win in the Rookie 4 feature. Matthew Ferguson finished second, with Brandon Elliott in third.
Jackie Holden picked up the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Newman Presnell, Patch Anthony, Joey Kelly and Chris Harvell rounded out the top five.
