Roy Woodhouse Wins First EBRP Feature In Five Years

TAMPA, FL – It took five long years, but Saturday night, Roy Woodhouse finally made his first trip to victory lane at East Bay Raceway Park, as he scored the win in the V8 Warriors feature for his first victory at the famed “Clay By The Bay” Saturday night.

Woodhouse beat out Jason Burside for the victory , with Jimmy Baker in third, Mike Wilson in fourth and Jeremy Douglas in fifth.

In other action, it was another Woodhouse, Buck Woodhouse, winning his sixth Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks feature of the season over David Barwick, II and William Burnside. Ronnie Heard finished fourth with Billy Barstow rolling home in fifth.

Billy Boyd, Jr. won his sixth East Bay Sprints feature of the year, getting by rookie Dylan Colding after leading the first eight laps. Colding would finish his best race ever, coming home second with Guy Bos third, Johnny Alexander fourth and Kurt Taylor.

Jack Nosbisch, Jr. scored his third feature victory of the year in the Late Model feature. Mavrick Varnadore followed in second, with Jamie Slatton in third, Travis Varnadore fourth and Austin Sanders fifth.

In the Sunshine Micro Sprints, Justan Rodgers scored the feature win. Wade Evans, Paul Weaver, Cliff Evans and Paul Seburn rounded out the top five.
