Five Drivers Go Two-For-Two At Toccoa Speedway

Out of eight divisions to do battle at the legendary 5/16 mile Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa GA Saturday night, five scored their second straight feature wins on the fast Toccoa dirt.

David McCoy held off a stout field of Limited Late Models to score his second straight feature victory in that division.

Deno Long came across the finish line in second.  Clayton Turner ran third, with Bill Morgan in fourth and David Conley in fifth.

In other action, ‘Hot Rod’ LaMance scored his second straight FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature win, beating out Kenny Collins at the checkered flag.  Larry Timms, David Smith, and Dale Timms rounded out the top five.

Bobby Hill kept the “two-for-two” trend alive in the Hobby feature, as he scored his second win of the young season.  Tyler Brown finished second, with Michael Lyons in third, Jeffrey Wood in fourth, and Nicholas Baxter in fifth.

Not to be outdone, Mark Wilbanks scored his second straight victory in the Modified Street feature, topping Josh Thurmond at the checkered flag.  Doug Sellers finished third, with Otis Murray in fourth, and Aaron Warren in fifth.

Jackie Holden broke the trend in the Stock 4 Cylinder feature, taking the victory over last week’s winner, Harley Holden.  Kenny Dobbs, Todd Wade, and Kevin Tullis rounded out the top five.

Jackie Holden did double up by also winning in the Front Wheel Drive feature.  Trey Chapman came home second, with Jeremy Ward in third, Joey Kelly in fourth and Corey Price in fifth.

Matthew Denton scored the win in the Pure Stock V8 feature.  Michael Buckley finished second, with Wayne Chapman in third, and Jesse Thurmond in fourth.

The last repeat winner of the night came in the Rookie 4 Cylinder feature, when Charles Cobb took his second win in as many weeks.  Nick Simmons ran second, followed by Brian Simmons, Holton Bradshaw, and Donny Burns.

Toccoa Speedway will be back in action on Saturday night, March 31, with action in seven divisions.
