Mother Nature was the only winner Wednesday night at New Smyrna Speedway, as rain forced the postponement of scheduled events for the 46th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at the New Smyrna Beach, FL raceway.
Race officials have announced that the FL/IMCA Type Modifieds will run their 50 lap World Series Finale on Thursday. Also on tap for Thursday will be the Super Late Models, the NASCAR Tour-Type/SK Modifieds, Pro Late Models and Pro Trucks.
Looking ahead to the rest of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing schedule, Friday will feature the 27th annual Richie Evans Memorial 100 for NASCAR Tour-Type Modifieds, along with Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, SK Modifieds, and Pro Trucks.
The action will wrap up with Saturday night’s Bright House Challenge Series Super Late Model 100, the Pro Late Models, Pro Trucks, and NASCAR Tour-Type Modifieds.
